Important Notice Regarding the Coronavirus Pandemic

The East Side Alano Club is open on limited basis and only for certain meetings. Effective July 13, 2020, a maximum of ten people are allowed in the building at one time and masks are required.

See listing below, check the A.A. Meeting Guide app and MAICO’s website. MAICO has list of local online meetings. The AA General Service Office also maintains a listing of online AA meetings. For other 12-step groups, contact the Al-Anon Hotline at 608 222.8989 or Al-Anon online and Heroin Anonymous World Services.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Meetings

Please note:  Meetings with asterisks* are meeting in-person at clubhouse.

Wheelchair accessible 12 Step meetings are located on the first floor of the building only. The wheelchair accessible entrance to the building is at the street facing side of the building (north side) and accessible from the marked parking places for people with disabilities. Unless noted otherwise, all AA meetings are part of the Turning Point Group (TPG). See additional information at end of this Meeting List.*

*Turning Point Group

TPG (Turning Point Group) is the registered AA Group encompassing the majority of AA meetings held at East Side Alano Club of Madison, Inc.  Alcoholics in recovery who consider themselves members of any of these AA meetings are members of the AA Turning Point Group. Turning Point Group AA meetings provide financial donations to the ESAC for use of meeting space.

Steering Committee (SC) for the Turning Point Group provides direction and support for AA meetings at the ESAC, offers service opportunities for AA members, donates to various AA service levels, and is a conduit for information sharing among AA groups and AA as a whole.

Special Meetings

ANNUAL ESAC MEMBERSHIP MEETING is held in January of each year.  A notice is posted on our website, on flyers on the clubhouse and on announcement folders circulated during 12 step meetings.
